I am a New York-born editor who has managed long-term documentary projects for almost a decade. I've been passionate about filmmaking since I was a kid making rudimentary animations on 3D Movie Maker (a free Windows '95 program).

I'm most interested in projects that explore human resilience, and use the medium of film as a tool for advocacy. Through college, I was drawn to vérité-style portraiture akin to Streetwise and the work of Les Blank. In a current documentary landscape largely saturated by cynical films, I'm hoping we can get back to narratives that reveal the unfiltered human experience. I think that as editors we have a responsibility to be compassionate and not judge our subjects by fabricating truth for spectacle.

When I'm not editing, I write music, and I'm hoping to do more composing in the future. I also like watching The New York Mets win (rare).
